Q. What are Picture Yourself Tokens?
A. Picture Yourself Tokens are the 'currency' used on this website in order for you to make purchases. The tokens can be used in order to save images to 'Your Account' where they can be downloaded to your computer. Tokens can also be exchanged for high quality prints of your images. Through the year we will be giving away free tokens to competition winners and other users of the site.
Q. How do you buy 'Picture Yourself Tokens' and how do they work?
A. Picture Yourself Tokens are firstly purchased in Your Account via the 'Buy Picture Yourself Tokens Now' tab located at the top of your account. Here you can select whether to buy single tokens if you are intending to buy a single picture to download to your computer. You also have the option of buying larger numbers of tokens in which case you will recieve some free tokens to play with!
Once you have bought your tokens, find the picture you wish to either download or get printed. Simply follow the purchase instructions from here, your tokens will be deducted from your account upon purchase.
Q. How is postage paid for?
A. Postage costs are also paid for my 'Picture Yourself Tokens' so make sure you have enough before purchase. The amount of postage paid depends entirely on the product you have bought and where you live. The postage costs are listed below:
Q. Do you accept credit cards?
A. Yes we accept almost every credit card and debit card. You can also make your transaction through 'PayPal'. Our site is fully secured and your card details are handled by a Natwest's banking service 'Streamline' who are obligated to keep all your details perfectly safe and sound.
Q. Can you get images printed from 'Picture Yourself'?
A. You have the choice of either downloading your chosen picture or printing it in a number of different sizes from A5 - A1 Wall poster prints. It is also simple to upload your own pictures to Your Account from your own computer for printing.
To print a picture select the size of print you require in the 'Gallery Viewer' on the right hand side. After this select the 'buy now' button and follow the instructions.
Q. Where do i upload images to my Account?
A. Images can either be uploaded through the 'Print Centre' or in the upload section in 'My Account'.
Q. What is the maximum size of images that can be uploaded?
A. 5Mb limit on uploads.
Q. What quality of picture is viable for each print size?
A. The following rules apply to picture printing sizes
- Print size up to A4 - 2 mega pixel camera required
- Print size up to A2 - 3 mega pixel camera required
- Print size up to A1 - 6 mega pixel camera required
Q. How good is the quality of your prints?
A. All prints are produced on the very latest digital printing equipment which delivers high quality, high resolution prints
Q. How long will the prints last for?
A. The prints we supply implement full colour, UV static, fade free pigment inks. The result is high quality, strong coloured prints that arrive and stay in the highest quality.
Q. Does my picture download with the watermark present?
A. The watermark is just present before your purchase. When you exchange a token for the picture, the image is saved into your Account watermark free. This is how it will be when you download it.
